My mother in law just bought her first digital camera and wants to be able to edit photos on her computer. She knows of photoshop but I am afraid it might be too much for her to comprehend. Can anyone recommend a simple to use editing suite that comes with a low price tag (free if possible)?

Windows finally pulled it's head out of it's ass and resolved those issues it had with 5.1 digital audio. My audio system finally works as it was meant to and it sounds incredible.

I'm pretty impressed. Its really fast, startup/shutdown. New GUI is good, new taskbar takes some getting used too but is vastly superior to earlier versions. Rock solid stable so far. Only complaint is games run a fair bit slower. Losing around 20-30 fps in heavy action in TF2.
