The 300 graphic novel has been uploaded to a special place about 6 months ago.

I recommend you check it out, it's pretty cool.
Vin Diesel once showed me a video of him making love to my wife, and it was the most beautiful thing I ever saw!

fucking loved the movie, however it has dawned on me that i might have been a tad too drunk to fully appreciate it, hence i will be seeing it again.

i saw this movie last night and I would have to say it was a good movie. I tried not to listen to all the hype, I tried to go in with no expectations except for a good movie, and it was. The fight scenes were excellent, lots of blood a gore. I doubt i'd go spend another $10 to see this movie again, but I wouldn't do that for any movie these days, just too damn expensive, i remember when it use to be $3 to see a matinee bah

If you live in or around the Irvine area, we have a $1 theater. Plays new movies, but weeks after the release.

As for 300, great flick in my opinion and I guess most people agree, as it did gross 70+ million dollars this weekend (3rd highest grossing R-rated movie of all time). Great action and cinematography. Exactly what you should expect from an adaptation of graphic novel to movie.

I would have rather seen a Gates of Fire adaptation, but this movie is in no way a let down.

A novel about the Battle of Thermopylae by Steven Pressfield. Great read, especially if you're into the details of Spartan war training. Also gives a more in depth account of the battle and key characters. Also on the required reading list for most infantry officers as it depicts the ideal officer through one of the main characters, Dienekes, who has been said to be the greatest warrior to have lived. He originally coined the line, "Then we will have our battle in the shade" in reference to the massive ammounts of Persian archers.

    Dienekes ftw.
