Great game. No ring for Jr.

The first half was fucking boring, but the second half was pretty rad. Couldn't believe that catch by Tyree...

    GIANTS! woooooooooo

Manning's sack escape and throw + Tyree's catch = best play in any superbow IVE seen.

    Amazing game, great ending!!

Unfortunately the Giants winning was the lesser of 2 evils. As much as I didn't want to see Eil Manning get a Superbowl win I definitely didn't want to see the Patriots as a team win. No one that cheats deserves to win anything period.

Yeah --- I saw that and I was like WTF? I mean.. yeah, i'm asian (are filipino's really even considered asian -- no really.).. well half. And I thought the commercial was pretty tasteless.

But yeah, what a great game to watch. I don't begrudge eli the ring. He earned it; especially with the bullshit he has had to put up with. I mean it's not his fault he was born with a dumbass look on his face! ;)

"Inhabitants of Russia's Kuril Islands, Alaska's Aleutian Islands, and the Taiwanese, Japanese, Filipino, and Indonesian islands, although technically bordering edges of the Pacific Ocean, do not fall under the definition of "Pacific Islanders" because such islands are not actually located within the Pacific or therefore any of the three regions of Oceania (Polynesia, Micronesia and Melanesia), and ethnicities native to the latter four among the aforementioned are thus classified as "Asians" on the U.S. Census."

    AND

"Asian" refers to those having origins in any of the original peoples of the Far East, Southeast Asia, or the Indian subcontinent including, for example, Cambodia, China, India, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Pakistan, the Philippine Islands, Thailand, and Vietnam. "Pacific Islander" refers to those having origins in any of the original peoples of Hawaii, Guam, Samoa..."

So according to what I could find, filipinos are defined as asian and not pacific islanders...

Bummer for Jr. I was really hoping he would get a ring. I would say there is always next year, but I expect the Chargers to represent the AFC in the SB come next Feb.

The game was Patriots' to lose. The Giants played about as well as they could have. If they needed some more, there isn't more to give.

The Patriots' played a merely average game. Their offense was stale until the 2nd half of the 4th quarter. They switched to short passes underneath the coverage and that proved to be quite effective. The Giants' pass rush completely disrupted Brady's timing on long throws. But if you cover deep and rush the passer at the same time, the soft underbelly is wide open. Brady exploited that on that one single drive. But it should have been implemented much earlier, like the beginning of the 2nd half.

This game reminds me of how USC lost to Texas a few years ago in Rose Bowl for the championship. USC did not adjust their defense to stop Vince Young. They were too cocky and paid the price.
Trust me. I know what I am doing.

It was amazing how well both teams adjusted so fast to each other's schemes. That is what stopped another drive like you saw... and the defensive pressure.. wow

Patriots D to old after all? :)

I laugh that Seau didn't get a ring :). They thought they sealed the deal at 14-10.

Yeah. They were celebrating in the end zone, hugging on the side lines,
acting like it was all in the bag when they went up 14-10. Then the NYG's
trounced em in the last 2:30. Awesome ending and the Patriot's dejection
after the premature celebration was the icing on the cake.

Wish I thought about that! Any time the odds and the spreads are just so out of whack; its worth it to take a shot.

    Sorry I'm late.
Raiders showed more improvement than any team this year other than the Patriots, Cowboys, or Packers.

I foresee a Raiders/Niners SB next year...Go Bay Area teams!!!
