Very nice. Unfortunately I'm spoiled by my Sigs and probably won't ever buy any other brand. I think I'll buy a 1911 made by Sig.
Trust me. I know what I am doing.

The pistol itself should be around $500. Porting might run you $150. The extra swirly patter on the ejection port, the high visibility sight, and the custom pebble grain grip might run you another $150.
I was thinking about getting a ported pistol. Then I heard the guy at the store saying that it's not good for home defense. The flash from the port will destroy your night vision should you have to use it in the dark.
Trust me. I know what I am doing.

Is there a simple "compare these models" site? lol
http://www.sigsauer.com/Products/Sho...?categoryid=54
check that out! damn
I'm not a big fan of the P250. I think it's too complicated. I just want a double action auto pistol with no safety and a decocker. A pistol can have a safety if it's single action only. The P250 is also double action only. If I wanted a double action only, I'd go for a revolver with superior accuracy and heavier loads. Auto is for quick follow up shots. I don't want a heavy trigger to ruin my shot.
I have a P226, a P228, and a P2009. I'll probably get another P226 (this time with rail), a P220, and a Sig 1991 in the near future.
Some people think Sigs are boring. But you can't go wrong with a Sig.
Trust me. I know what I am doing.

Thanks guys! The gun came ported from the factory. All of the modifications pretty much add up to around the cost of the gun. I went to the range and the thing shoots awesome. It was very sweet having the adjustable sights.![]()
I love my p228.
I want the new p229 Elite in .40 though =/
I'm with you con, Sig FTW !
I love my p226.
x[chongo] "I love the hairy pits."
Kinda, as the gases travel out the barrel they exit the top ports pushing the gun back down for a quicker follow up shot. If you hold any .45acp and lower handgun right there is virtually no muzzle flip. I love my ported gun, others don't like it. It sure gets VERY dirty after 100 rounds because of the ports. I think it looks bad ass with flames shooting out of the top of the gun. Kind of intimidating to some though.

One of these days I'll get a ported pistol and see how good it is.
Trust me. I know what I am doing.

Well I hate to do it, but i think i am going to put this up for sale.
PM me if interested please, selling for a LOW price.
Thanks.
Yeah if it's because of money problems dude everyones in the same fuckin boat. Sell anything but the gun. Trust me you'll want to have it in the next couple of years as things are only going to get worse.
