    photograph a comet

    I know some of you guys have nice SLR cameras. There's a new found comet that will be visible soon. Take some pictures.

    Comet shot

    I took this picture tonight with a tri-pod and a release cable. As you can see it appears that there is flying debri. I hope I shot the right thing if not it still looks cool.

    So you can see it from So. Cal Vizor? I guess with the clear skies lately you can see lots more at night...

    Everything in that pic has a tail - looks like you held the exposure open for a few minutes at least right? Then that's not debris.

    Supposedly this comet will escape the solar system after this pass around the sun. This is mankind's first and only chance to see it.
