Fully supports it. Matter of fact. She's the one that PUSHED me into getting a handgun. The AR was post-illness/addiction, but she's still on board with it.

Update: Picked up my lower receiver yesterday and am building her up tonight.

    Grab one of these: http://www.cheaperthandirt.com/ARR533-7.html

I had a blown primer in my fire control group and the hammer and trigger were completely frozen. I had to remove the hammer and disconnector to get it out and was quite surprised to find that little fucker in there. I have to wonder how many times this has happened to a soldier or marine in a firefight. Maybe it's due to crappy ammo?

Nice dude! What type of flip-up sight did you get? We should start an AR-15 thread for these...

It's a standard BUIS on that Stag 2ht. I'll try and find out who makes it.

Chongo: what is the purpose of the "Magpul 10/30 PMag w/ Ranger plate"? That's the little grab thingy on the bottom of your magazine, yea?

Magpul 10/30 PMag is a 30 round mag modified down to 10 round capacity.

Ranger plate is the plastic-rubber loop on the bottom of the mag. Easy to to pull out + can be used to rest the mag on cement and such w/o destroying it's finish of the mag.

Keeping your forests safe. One day at a time.

Ignore the strap/sling. Didn't have an actual sling so I pulled it off my range bag and used a zip tie to secure it to the back. It served it's purpose as we were mobbin around on the quad and rock jumping across the water.

It also works as a shock absorber if you happen to hit the mag release and don't grab the magazine. I was doing some reload drills a few weeks ago and it really saves the mag bases a LOT of abuse.

    P.S.,

    Excellent trigger discipline!

Out the 100TX, through the Linksys router, down the cable modem, over the tap,

off the bridge, past the node, straight up the gateway, around the cap, past the head end office....

Nice. Are you going to do something to the front sight? Seems like you'd only want to see a red dot.
