    rimfire plinking

Anyone into rimfire guns? I personally don't have a single one but I use my brother's Ruger 10/22 and my dad's Ruger Mark II.

I'm thinking about getting a Henry lever action 22. I heard that's a good rifle.

How about the new 17HM2 and 17HMR? Anyone have experiences with those?

How about 22WMR? I thought this one is a bit expensive to plink with. Might as well get a real rifle.
Trust me. I know what I am doing.

I only own a Ruger 10/22. Handed down from my pops.

Fun to shoot, had a blast with it yesterday. I need to get some new glass for it. I think it currently has some $20 Sears scope on it. Icky.

there is a hornady conversion available for the 10/22.

the 10/22 is a great rifle. we spent hours going through brick after brick of .22lr when i was a kid and it never had a problem.

i couldnt own one now because id spend a grand on parts and never shoot it.

all i own now is a pt92 stashed under the head of the bed...

I haven't shot a .22 in years, but it's a friggin' hoot. I had a Nylon 66 when I was 10 and my dad had a Ruger single-six that would shoot .22 and .22lr. By the time I was 11, we didn't have a bird problem on our farm any more.

I bet a little lever action .22 would be just as fun, but loading a full tube and pulling the trigger as fast as you can still can't be beat.

Out the 100TX, through the Linksys router, down the cable modem, over the tap,

off the bridge, past the node, straight up the gateway, around the cap, past the head end office....

I personally own a Savage .17. In my opinion I think the .17 adds a bit more fun to plinking.

.22's are still fun, but everybody and their sister have a .22 these days and amo is rediculious to find.

You can still find .17 at Bimart, and walmart.

    3300 rounds of .22lr @ $.023 a round says you're wrong!

22ammo is all over the place
the ruger 10/22 is very nice, as is that Henry.
I take it you want a rifle, and not a handgun 22?

I actually found a few on sale in calguns.net in Demokratik People's Republik of Kalifornia.

Anyone currently own a Ruger Single Six? I don't see that on the list of approved handguns for sale in Kalifornia. I hope that list burns in hell along with whoever introduced this crap.
Trust me. I know what I am doing.

I also have a 10/22. Love shooting it. Brick of ammo used to cost me $1.25 at Sports Authority. Had a friend that worked there. The bar code for one box was the same for a brick ;).

Mini 14's are kick ass too. Wish I had one.
