    Boulder Creek '09

stalker, twitch, cyrus (you don't know him), and I hit up our favorite camping site again this year in King's Canyon NF. Good times were had by all.

Below are the pics taken from various cameras, shooters, days, and locations. Enjoy.

Awesome pics Dom. My friends and I just got back from Seqouia NF this weekend. We stayed up at Quaking Aspen which is up HWY 190 above Porterville/Springville at about 7000ft. Awesome weather and views up there and only about 15min from the Trail of 100 Giants. Great swimming holes down the moutain on the lower Tule River.

P.S. WHat is that giant snow-capped mountain?

stalker can reply to that one. I'm not too sure. Looks like he snapped it down on his drive from Washington.

N36*44'56.2", W118*47'21.5" is the camp ground. You'll have to hike a good 1.5hrs down creek to get to our fishing spot.

What are the gun laws at that place? Can you carry your rifle around? Loaded?
Trust me. I know what I am doing.

That would be Mt. Shasta looking to the south on US-97.

Nice. So you found a place in NF where shooting is allowed? I need to find another place to shoot. I don't trust Hodge Rd. at I15 any more.

The canyons up by Calico are legal AFAIK. I was shooting there about 5 years ago and the ranger pulled up and said hello then moved on.

Hodge Rd. was legal a few years ago. But many things change in a few years. I just want to make sure I don't run into some humorless federales giving me a huge ticket.
