    LEGO Universe

If this is HALF as good as it seems... Goodbye WOW is all I have to say. I have built LEGOs all throughout my childhood and seeing this makes me happy. Not to mention the polygon count is around 10x that of WoW (Even though WoW is old) still looks like a definite buy. Final closed Beta is available for sign ups now and should be released 2nd quarter this year.

    legouniverse.com check it out!

On paper and what I have seen personally the game looks wonderful. For instance all of us that have been huge Shadowbane or UO fans, they have custom homes you can build either brick by brick or choose a preset model to build. They will have 3 "realms" if you will where you have the hardcore pvp'ers that can destroy houses and focus mainly on that, while another method is based on group questing etc, and finally building mode where you focus on that aspect of the game. Now I am not sure how all of these can or if they will mesh or not because I am waiting for my beta invite to fully explore that aspect.

The character customization is intense and fun. It breaks it down from head to toe as far as hundreds of options are concerned, there is no reason why anyone should have the same look.

One of my favorite parts besides the rest is the fact that they incorporated all of their lego sets into the game. You can start at any one of these and switch over or stay for your own liking. I am excited to see a couple of things:

    1. How the PVP system will look and feel (WoW is far superior to this IMO at this time)
    2. Graphics
    3. Player housing
    4. Skill system and leveling.

I will post when I have more information.

The theme of the website has a definite "children oriented education game" feel to it.

But the trailer, which I had previously seen, is freaking sweet.
